UWBC Spring 2010 Survival of the Fittest Tournament

The University of Waterloo Badminton Club will be having its Survival of the Fittest (SOTF) tournament on the following dates:

Mixed Doubles and Ladies Doubles: Saturday, July 31st from 9:30 AM to 5 PM

Men's Doubles: Sunday, August 1st from 9:30 AM to 5 PM

Online registration is now OPEN and will close on Wed. July 28th at 11:59 PM.

UWBC Spring 2010 Member Social

Hello,

The member social for Spring 2010 is Games, Snacks, and BBT Night! Come out and meet other members of the club playing games, chatting, eating awesome snacks, and drinking some bubble tea!

Location: SLC Multipurpose Room
Date: Monday, June 28th
Time: 8pm to 10pm

Games:
Scrabble, Checkers, Taboo, Cards, Monopoly Deal, Cranium, Clue, Buzzwords, Catch Phrase, Settlers of Catan

Snacks:
baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, onion rings, chips (regular, ketchup, sour cream and onion), french onion dip

Bubble Tea:
Mango Green Tea, Taro Milk Tea, Passion Fruit Green Tea

UWBC Ladder for Spring 2010

We are pleased to announce that the UWBC Ladder for Spring 2010 will be starting on Friday, June 18th and will continue for any Friday sessions that are marked as ladder on the UWBC schedule here:

Spring 2010 "Veni Vidi Vici" Tournament

UWBC presents its Veni Vidi Vici tournament for Spring 2010.

Veni Vidi Vici (pronounced "vaynee veedee veechee") is Latin for I came, I saw, I conquered and was first quoted by Julius Caesar in 47 BC.

In this unique tournament, you will form teams of 3 players. All team members may be tested in their ability to play as a team, and as an individual.

This tournament shall take place on Saturday, June 12th from 9:30am to 5:30pm.

Online registration for this tournament is now open and will close on Tuesday, June 8th at 11:55 PM.

Spring 2010 Session Schedule now posted

Hi everyone,

The session schedule for UWBC's Spring 2010 term is now posted. Please check the calendar prior to attending sessions, as there may be weeks where there is no session on certain dates.

The first session is today (Friday May 14th) at 7:15pm.

If you still haven't signed up for the club, you are welcome to drop by today.
