Member Social #1: Group Trivia Night!

Hello Winter 2014 UW Badminton Club (UWBC) members!

We would like to invite you to our first member social of the term, Group Trivia Night, which will take place on Tuesday, February 4th in the SLC Multipurpose Room from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. This member social will feature over $500 worth of prizes! All you need to do is answer trivia questions and you’ll get an opportunity to win free prizes!

To participate, you will be required to sign-in between 7:30pm and 8pm on the day of the event, and you need to register here:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-7JDlzOp_yciayo5XY1xCk512bm503wHHHeeSTQaxbc/viewform Participants will be grouped into random teams.

You can also register during the day of the event, but your spot will not be guaranteed.

If you don’t want to participate but still want free food and prizes, members can come to watch and be entered in a raffle to win draw prizes.

All members will need to present their Winter 2014 membership card to be entered in the raffle prize draw and/or to participate in the Group Trivia.

We will also be providing free snacks and drinks (including hot chocolate!) for all members to enjoy.

Winter 2014 Registration

Happy new year everyone. You are all probably very excited and pumped to play some badminton. Before we jump into it, you need to register for our badminton club. Come out to the registrations days or the first session (W Jan. 15) to sign up or get more details. Registration dates and locations are as follows: Thursday, January 9th from 6:45pm to 8:15pm in the SLC Multipurpose Room Monday, January 13th from 6:45pm to 8:15pm in the SLC Multipurpose Room On the registration days remember to bring your WATcard, $20 cash and a filled out waiver form which can be found on our site here: http://www.badmintonclub.uwaterloo.ca/waiver.pdf. Blank waivers and pens will also be provided during registration. Executive member interviews and sign ups will also be taken place in the same time and location. If you're interested and feel like you want to get more involved, ask us about it during registration. See you all there!
